In short, your information does NOT and will NOT, be sold, exchanged or traded with any 3rd party, companies or businesses for marketing purposes.

This Policy explains when and why we collect personal information, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

Personal information which is collected when you book an appointment or make an initial enquiry
The initial information you provide to me at Stylecreatives is when you make a booking or request information about my services, this is collected in the form of your contact telephone number and email address. These are used only in connection to your requested service or enquiry when I email you a quote or send you confirmation of your appointment and follow this up with a reminder text message closer to the date of appointment.

Your address will only be requested  if you require me to post a patch test out to you or if you request me to come to you to provide you with a service.

Ways in which your information is collected
  • Via the ‘contact me’ page on my website. The information you provide gets sent directly to my email which allows me to respond to your enquiry.
  • When you arrive in studio for your appointment, you may need to fill out a record/consent form for your chosen treatment. These forms are stored in a locked cabinet in my office.
Website recording
Like many other websites, the Stylecreatives website uses cookies. ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. For example, we use cookies to store your country preference. This helps us to improve our website and deliver a better more personalised service.

Why your information is collected
Before carrying out a treatment, it is necessary to document the information you provide as I rely on this to form a contractual obligation to provide you with a service. As part of these details, you are asked to provide me with information relating to your health. Without disclosing required information relating to your health, a treatment cannot go ahead. My reason for collecting and processing this information, is to check your suitability to a chosen treatment and that it is safe to carry out. To ensure the same standard of quality and safety of service is continually met, I will check the information you provide is up to date at each appointment.
Sharing your information
In some cases, a medical approval may be needed before you can have a certain treatment. I will provide you with a letter to give to your GP/health practitioner to obtain their written consent, the only other time your information may be shared is when Im contractually required to do so.
Marketing
I may from time to time use pictures to showcase my work on my website or Facebook/Instagram business page. I will always obtain your permission before doing so and you are NOT obliged at all to grant me permission for this.
Clients rights
You are entitled to view and/or amend (if you think your information is factually incorrect. For example: if you move home and want to change your address or you want to update your marital status and surname to reflect).

You can request deletion of pictures used for marketing purposes. You can also unsubscribe to any email newsletters at anytime. Please email your request to info@kemmy.co.uk

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (ICO) if you feel your information is in breach of the new GDPR legislations.

Retention periods
Your data will be safely stored for upto 5 years or as long as contractually obliged. After this time, your information will be shredded and disposed off.
16 or under
We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged 16 or under. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission beforehand whenever you provide us with personal information.
